About the Role
Venteon is a dynamic company that requires a skilled Purchasing Manager to manage our purchasing process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate execution of purchase orders, negotiating with vendors, and evaluating supplier performance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing, terms, and quality.
- Evaluate supplier performance to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and production timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future purchasing needs based on forecasts and demand planning.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, order discrepancies, and quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Support global purchasing initiatives, including issuing POs and coordinating with international vendors.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems; experience with PO management tools is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
