Salary is $100,000-$130,000 annually.

Requirements of the Payroll Manager:
- A college degree is highly desired, not required. Payroll certifications are a major plus.
- 8 years of high volume multistate payroll experience required.
- Knowledgeable in payroll taxes and laws.
- Experience processing in house payroll is required.
- Experience improving payroll operations.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the preparation and processing of payroll for employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll-related laws, including tax withholdings, garnishments, and other deductions.
- Review and approve payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and other pay adjustments.
- Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing excellent customer service and resolution.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate employee records and timely processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, promotions).
- Prepare and file required payroll tax filings and reports (e.g., quarterly and annual tax reports, W-2s, 1099s).
- Coordinate and manage year-end payroll processes, including preparing data for audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.
- Maintain and improve payroll systems and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of payroll data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting purposes.
- Supervise and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay current on payroll-related laws and best practices and recommend improvements to payroll processes.
- Handle special payroll projects as assigned by senior management.
