We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee and manage payroll operations within our company. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and labor agreements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll for a diverse workforce, including hourly and salaried employees.
Position type:
Salary is $100,000-$140,000 annually.
Direct Hire with PTO and Benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, including wage calculations, deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Maintain payroll records, generate reports, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Work closely with HR and Finance departments to manage benefits, tax reporting, and labor costs.
- Handle employee payroll inquiries, resolving issues promptly.
- Implement and optimize payroll software and systems for efficiency.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings, such as W-2s, 1099s, and state unemployment reports.
- Conduct audits to ensure payroll accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
- SAP ERP system is a plus. Any ERP system experience required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Payroll Certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, SAP, Paycom, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
