Payroll Supervisor

Working Arrangement: In Office

POSITION TYPE: Full time, Direct hire, in office. PTO/Benefits are included.

Salary is $90,000-$120,000 annually

• Oversee and supervise the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding wages, deductions, benefits, and tax filings.
• Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other payroll-related documents.
• Ensure that pay calculations, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation-related activities are processed correctly.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of payroll specialists and clerks.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, and monitor performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance for professional development.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify errors or discrepancies and ensure accurate payroll distributions.
• Reconcile payroll accounts, ensuring funds are properly distributed to employees, taxes are withheld, and benefits are paid.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Several years of payroll experience, including supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
