Our client, a global leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team in Old Fort, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing and dynamic organization while overseeing critical financial and operational functions.
Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a safe work environment.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, forecasts, and strategic plans.
- Maintain internal controls and CSOX compliance at the plant level.
- Oversee hourly payroll operations.
- Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and resolve related issues.
- Report financial results and reconcile all General Ledger accounts monthly.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support profit improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate audits and ensure the accuracy of physical inventory and related reports.
- Audit bills of materials and product costs to maintain accuracy.
- Collaborate with plant operations to track expenditures, outputs, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (required).
- MBA and/or CPA credentials (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally automotive.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
