2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Dexter, Michigan Area
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is a key leadership position responsible for leading high-performance work teams within the assigned manufacturing operation. This role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity to ensure achievement of daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely production
- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
- Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Development and maintain standard operating procedures for production processes
- Collaborate with management to set production targets and establish goals for the production team
- Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions
- Maintain quality by establishing and enforcing production standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in manufacturing production supervision, preferably for an OEM supplier
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in metal stamping and/or robotic weld assembly
- High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
- Computer skills, proficiency using production reporting software, Microsoft Office
- Ability to create and adhere to production processes
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
