Senior Financial Analyst

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST NEEDED - JACKSON, MICHIGAN

A Leading Automotive Supplier in Jackson, Michigan needs a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will assist the Divisional Controller in all aspects of financial / accounting related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Perform and responsible for A/P, A/R accounting duties
• Perform and responsible for all types of financial analysis (ie. PPV and inventory analysis)
• Assist with month-end closing including preparing and posting accrual journal entries
• Assist with monthly financial statements and reports
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliation
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Assist with weekly flash, quarterly forecast and annual budget
• Assist with annual audit package
• Additional duties as assigned
• Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Divisional Controller

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years bookkeeping, data entry, and invoicing experience
• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• SAP Experience
