Job Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role oversees the termination process and provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists HR Generalist with recruitment and interview process.
- Administers the new hire onboarding process within HRIS; including data entry and individual follow-ups.
- Administers the termination process and assists HR Director with conducting terminations.
- Responds to all terminated employee claims including unemployment.
- Coordinates termination logistics including company equipment retrieval coordination.
- Administers the COBRA benefits for all employees and assists the HR Generalist with benefit related items.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- SHRM-CP credential preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
