Venture Data is Hiring – All Hours and Shifts!

Our hours of operation are 7 am to 10 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

We have a Tier Pay Scale with a shift differential, for business-to-business work, the wages are as follows:

For first 9 months, $16.50 per hour
9 months to 18 months, $16.75 per hour
18 months, $17.00 per hour

On our Residential surveys (political, market research, residential health insurance surveys) the wages are as follows:

For first 9 months, $15.50 per hour
9 months to 18 months, $15.75 per hour
18 months, $16.00 per hour

Our training and DQ wage is $14.70 per hour.

Requirements of the Position

Must be able to read aloud from constantly-changing questionnaires in a clear, smooth, professional manner.

You should have good word-recognition and pronunciation, and be comfortable talking on the phone with a wide variety of people.

Must be comfortable working on a computer using keyboard rather than point-and-click navigation. Typing speed should be quick enough for entering verbatim responses to questions.

Must have good command of written English, as you will be responsible for proofreading information you have entered for capitalization, spelling, and punctuation.

Scheduling

An employee interested in training on our Business-to-Business work with a start time of 10 am or earlier will need to work a four or five day week (Monday through Friday) with weekends off.

An employee seeking a hybrid schedule may have weekends off if they start at 11 or noon and work until at least 6 pm on 4 or 5 weekdays.

An employee willing to work 8 or more weekend hours may work as few as two 8-hour weekdays.

Some scheduling flexibility is available as long as you plan in advance, and schedule changes are usually honored without issue. Time off requests of up to two weeks are honored as long as they are submitted the Wednesday prior to the work week in question.

The majority of our work is recorded, and recordings may be reviewed by supervisors, managers, and clients for Quality Assurance purposes. These recordings are the property of Venture Data and our clients and may also be used for training purposes.
