Licensed Architect

Our client, a full-service architecture firm rooted in Florida, has become a cornerstone of their community, renowned not just for their innovative designs but also for cultivating an exceptional workplace culture. On their behalf, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join their team, leading and managing intermediate-scale architectural projects from conception through to completion.

Position Summary

As a Project Architect, you will be at the forefront of innovative design efforts, driving architectural excellence across various projects. This role encompasses design leadership, technical coordination, client engagement, and project management, ensuring the delivery of projects that meet our high standards of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead innovative design efforts, ensuring projects balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
• Utilize BIM and other advanced tools for effective integration of building systems, enhancing design precision.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are accurately reflected in the design.
• Oversee all aspects of the architectural projects, ensuring adherence to design, schedule, and budget.
• Implement rigorous quality control processes to maintain high standards in design and construction.
• Foster professional growth within the team, sharing knowledge and experience.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements, particularly in sustainability, to lead innovation in design practices.
• Promote sustainable design practices, aiming for environmental certifications where applicable.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in REVIT and fluency in Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Enscape.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Exceptional design skills with the ability to communicate complex proposals effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with 8 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program or equivalent professional experience.
• Passionate, curious, and proactive, with a willingness to engage in both teaching and learning.

This is a full-time position, and salary is commensurate with experience.
