We are looking for a Litigation Assistant, with experience working on the Plaintiff side, to support our reputable client's legal department. Filing in the Florida Courts e-Filing portal. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents : motions, pleadings, notices of deposition, mediation, and additional tasks as required. Investigate facts to help in the resolution of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Microsoft Word and Excel and other software systems used daily. Ability to complete audits of approximately 50-100 cases correctly and efficiently. What you'll have One or more years of Litigation experience on the Plaintiff side; commercial insurance, personal injury, or property damage experience preferred. Ability to prioritize and multitask is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite. Experience working in the Florida E-filing portal is required. Must be able to pass a background check.
