The Venture Steel family is growing and we have immediate openings for General Utility Workers. This important entry level role will appeal to those who have manufacturing experience, or interest in this area and are ready to take their career to the next level. If you are comfortable around machinery and working safely as part of a dynamic team, this is the job for you.
We promote General Utility Workers on a path to become machine operators and provide 100% of the training to be successful at each step.
Venture Steel requires passing results of a criminal background check, physical, and 5 panel drug test as a condition of employment.

Hours of Work:
Second Shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Band steel as part of our packaging department using air tools
- Build skids
- Continuous lifting of steel pieces weighing up to 25-50 lbs
- Utilize machine operated equipment and standard moving tools
- Follow safe standard operating procedures
- Accept coaching from more experienced teammates and taking direction from Supervisors
- Clean work areas
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass pre employment drug test, physical, and background check (Venture Steel is a 100% drug free employer)
- Industrial experience is preferred but we’re willing to train
- Experience with machinery, hand tools, and lifting devices
- Attention to detail
