Venture Rentals LLC (venturerentalsapts.com) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaper to join our team. We manage multiple residential and multi-family properties in the Charlotte area and are looking for a professional to maintain and enhance the appearance of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and be committed to keeping our properties looking their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain grounds, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
- Prune and trim trees, bushes, and shrubs to ensure a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment.
- Install and maintain flower beds, gardens, and other landscaping elements.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to keep lawns and plants healthy.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Repair and install irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Clear pathways, driveways, and parking lots of debris and leaves.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and fall leaf collection.
- Collaborate with property managers to develop landscaping improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding pesticide use and landscaping practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Landscaper or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including mowing, pruning, and planting.
- Experience with lawn care equipment and tools (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with property managers and tenants.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with irrigation systems and repairs.
- Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides and their proper use.
- Landscaping certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Experience working with multi-family or commercial properties.
