Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer with 10 years of experience in data visualization, backend development, data validation, and documentation in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong Tableau Dashboard designing skills, SQL skills, a deep understanding of database systems, and excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Familiarity with SAS and Python would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tableau Development: Design, develop, and optimize interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Backend & Data Processing: Work with large datasets, ensuring efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) Tableau Prep processes.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data accuracy.
- Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough data validation and testing to maintain high data integrity.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation for dashboards, data processes, and business logic.
- Presentation & Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and dashboards to business leaders, translating data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization is a must.
- Strong SQL ,Tableau, Tableau Prep (writing complex queries, performance tuning, data modeling).
- Experience with backend development and handling large datasets.
- Expertise in data validation and ensuring high data quality.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and structured reports.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
- Experience with ETL processes and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of Tableau Server administration is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data automation is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in business intelligence (BI) strategy and implementation.
