What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Project / Implementation Director position at Venturity Financial Partners?
Venturity is seeking a Controller level Project / Implementation Director. This is a GREAT position for someone who has the technical accounting expertise and thrives on client interaction. As a Project / Implementation Director, you will lead a team that is responsible for on-boarding new clients – hosting implementation meetings with clients, creating and managing project plans, managing team capacity and scheduling workflow, and leading/performing complex projects and accounting tasks.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Must have 8 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Experience with multi-company business
- Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations.
- Strong technical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus.
- Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis required.
- Prior leadership or Controllership experience preferred.
