Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Scientist/Engineer to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will work closely with Program Manager (PM) to support organization efforts. Existing efforts include: the design and deployment of biomaterials, biomolecules, proteins, peptides, and/or engineered cells as medical countermeasures to prevent and manage infectious diseases arising from both fungal and bacterial pathogens. Future efforts include: efforts to engineer various aspects of red blood cells and their precursors for use as medical countermeasures. Required Experience:
- Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills
- PhD in biomedical engineering, Biology, or relevant field (Hematology, Systems Biology, Synthetic Biology, and/or Molecular Biology)
- Secret Clearance
Desired Experience:
- Background in Synbio with an interest in MedTech
- Prior experience supporting DARPA programs
