Job Description and Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervises, leads and coordinates activities of workers engaged in sandblasting and powder coating of products and structures, applying knowledge of sandblast and powder coating techniques, computer systems, equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Monitors work progress and ensures daily schedule is followed and completed while complying with the company’s good manufacturing practices (quality control standards, on-time delivery and occupational health and safety).
- Stages material to drive flow of our production process.
- Enable team members to maintain an adequate level of performance and to achieve their goals through coaching, support, training and evaluation.
- Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine sequence of operations and any required supplies.
- Removes obstacles that can slow production.
- Inspects work or confers with paint inspector/QC to maintain specified standards and quality.
- Works together under the direction of production manager to meet production deadlines.
- Requisitions supplies, such as coating materials, blast suits, etc.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Assists the production process by sandblasting and powder coating if needed.
- Develops and motivates a team atmosphere.
- Leads by example.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime is required as needed
Starting Rate: $23/Hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
