- Provide root cause analysis.
- Oversee the change management program and initiatives.
- Optimize work practices in areas of expertise.
- Manage and reduce risks to the station.
- Provide reliability analyses, evaluations, and recommendations, particularly for projects.
- Evaluate design alternatives.
- Design and install new and replacement equipment.
- Work with consultants and contractors to accomplish engineering objectives.
- Troubleshoot systems with Operations and Maintenance to resolve problems.
- Ensure safety of work practices.
- Monitor and recommend new technology for improvements in efficiency, reliability, availability, and longevity of the plant and its equipment.
- Analyze plant data and provide recommendations.
