Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Civil Engineers, EITs, designers, and CAD draftsmen, providing technical guidance, QA/QC oversight, and design feedback.
- Oversee daily operations, deliverables, and project schedules for various land development projects (residential, industrial, commercial, etc.).
- Utilize advanced engineering principles and practices to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct large and complex engineering projects, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
- Oversee industrial development projects (primarily 5 to 50 acres, with occasional projects exceeding 100 acres).
- Define project scope, including budget, design criteria, and schedule.
- Contribute to proposal development and client management activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in land/site development engineering (public and private).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven experience managing teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong understanding of land development processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with projects ranging from 5 to 100 acres.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial project development.
P.E. License in state of Texas
