Imaging Technologist Role
At Veracity Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. As an Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your role will involve accurately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies and performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images
- Position patients accurately for scanning
- Perform warm-up sequences on the CT scanner
- Sterilize radiologic equipment
- Interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
- Administer radiocontrast agents
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Explain scanning procedures to patients
Our Facility
Our acute care hospital, ER, and Level IV trauma center feature 10 BED ED with 2 dedicated TRAUMA bays and 25 beds to service MedSurg and IMC. You will work with a variety of diagnostic radiographic imaging equipment, including but not limited to CT scanners, portable units, and office equipment.
