Verbal Beginnings is hiring temporary ABA Technicians for our Social Beginnings Summer Program! ABA Technicians provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients at their assigned Social Beginnings’ summer location in a classroom based setting. Each ABA Technician is responsible for providing clinical services to their assigned clients and is supervised administratively by the Director of Social Beginnings and clinically by a Clinical Supervisor.
Location & Schedule:
This is a temporary full-time position and hours of work and days are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:00 pm. The first week of employment will be dedicated to training prior to the start of the summer program.

- $20.00 - $29.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
Essential Functions

- Ensure the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times
- Accurately document billed services, including keeping records of session dates and times, description of services provided, and additional documentation as assigned
- Provide designated professional and quality group based ABA services at all times as directed by the Clinical Supervisor
- Attend assigned training and supervision meetings with Clinical Supervisor(s) and Director of Social Beginnings.
- Comply with Company and BACB guidelines at all times
- The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that an employee must be able to meet to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.
- Regularly required to perform activities such as reaching, grasping, walking briskly or running, sitting on the floor, kneeling, crouching, ascending and descending stairs, and transitioning quickly between standing, sitting, and other positions (e.g., floor, chair, or other surfaces) throughout the day.
- Ability to interact effectively by speaking clearly, using age-appropriate language, and observing and maintaining attention through verbal and non-verbal communication
- Successful completion of Safety Care training and Re-Certifications, which includes carrying children per Safety Care training. Active participation in Safety Care is a condition of employment.

- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Psychology or a related field such as Education or Speech Therapy preferred.
- 6 months experience working with children, or equivalent college credits completed in a related degree program.
- BLS or equivalent CPR certification including pediatric (must have in person component - cannot be fully remote CPR) or a commitment to complete and show proof prior to one’s start date.
- Previous experience with or knowledge of individuals with ASD and ABA therapy is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and passion to help children with developmental disabilities.
- Reliable transportation
