About the role :
Vercel’s is looking for a User Policy Senior Manager to join our Trust & Safety team. You will report to the Director of Safety and will be located in US, EU, or remote.
In this role, you will work with small but mighty Trust & Safety, Legal, and Abuse Operations teams at Vercel to level up our policy, operations, escalations, incident management, terms of service, documentation, and user-facing T&S resources. If you like greenfields and challenges—in a supportive department—Vercel is the place for you.

What you will do :
- Modernize our current internal trust & safety policies, workflows, and implementation to match Vercel’s current and future needs.
- Run Trust & Safety’s policy escalations program to solve edge cases and create answers to new questions (from the Abuse Operations team and in general).
- Represent Trust & Safety in company-wide incidents & escalations and create coverage (with the rest of the Trust & Safety team).
- Pair with the T&S team and the Abuse Operations team to implement policy in Abuse Operations workflows to industry-best levels; training and workflow evaluation.
- Build out Vercel’s external acceptable use policy and user-facing documentation.
- As needed, be able to represent Vercel in external Trust & Safety communications.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $200,000.00 - $225,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
