Job Description

rchitectural Responsibilities :

ctively participate in the Architecture Group, providing expertise on long-term database technology options.

• Assess and recommend different database technologies.
• Contribute to the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Review database performance optimization strategies.
• Support the Performance team in investigations related to database performance.
• Drive distributed caching of data for improved system efficiency.
• Support resilience, disaster recovery, and cloud strategies from a database technology perspective.
• Collaborate with other architects within the group.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have served as SQL Server DBA for at least 20 years with around 6 years of experience in Azure / AWS. He is fully aware of the inner workings of the SQL Server database. He would have worked on administering SQL Server and Mongo DB. Demonstrates deep understanding of both relational and non-relational databases. Lead database engineering projects by collaborating with infrastructure teams. Architects and designs data / database solutions based on the overall system design and understanding of system component interactions.
