Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to provide administrative support for our contracts in heavy highway construction. The successful candidate will work closely with our project team, consisting of a project manager, project engineer, and superintendent, as well as the client. Key responsibilities include maintaining job files efficiently, contract management, subcontract management, communication with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and clients, submittals, and closeout paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and efficient job files
• Manage contracts and subcontract agreements
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and clients
• Prepare and submit submittals and closeout documentation
• Assist with tracking and processing time-and-materials work
Requirements
• Prior experience as a Construction Administrator
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Working knowledge of Viewpoint is a plus
