What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Production Planner position at Verdesian?
Essential Job Functions :
- Developing and managing production schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
- Coordinating with different departments to understand their scheduling needs and requirements
- Creating detailed reports on production plans, progress, and any changes to the schedule
- Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data, and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
- Resolving issues that could potentially impact schedule adherence and order fulfillment
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to improve scheduling efficiency
- Monitor material inventories, track progress of production, and review factors which affect schedules
- Communicating with management and stakeholders about the status of production schedules
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Forecasting and managing a budget for production scheduling
