What are the responsibilities and job description for the VFS - Enrollment Specialist position at Veridian CU?
This position supports, processes and maintains program enrollment for all active and inactive members, employees and vendors of the program. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing superior member service in the administration of the program through timely communication.
- Prepare and process documents with regard to opening new member, employee, vendor and ISB accounts.
- Process background screenings on behalf of the member employer.
- Ensure proper setup of tax accounts and withholdings, unemployment insurance accounts, workers compensation insurance, and wage deductions.
- Process termination requests and ensure accounts are closed properly.
- Prepare and process documents with regard to unemployment claims with Iowa Workforce Development.
- Knowledgeable of all contractual rules, regulations and requirements defined in each contract to ensure high level of decision making, quality assurance, fraud abuse and program integrity alignment.
- Knowledgeable of products and services that are applicable to Veridian Fiscal Solutions.
- Communicate and respond in a timely manner across the entire Veridian Fiscal Solutions product line to include internal and external calls and emails.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Maintain policies and procedures manual for this position.
- Provide back up to team members as needed.
- Make recommendations to increase revenue and decrease expenses.
