Position Summary
Kronos WFC Functional Analyst performs the tasks necessary to analyze, design, configure, implement and support Kronos Workforce Central application. Position will require working closely with CLIENT's IT, Business Stakeholders and Vendor to develop and implement solutions as part of ongoing support as well as new implementations. Position will require working with project teams to ensure upgrades and major enhancements have been well tested, limiting the impact to end users and Payroll.
QA Analyst experience will be needed as well. They will assist in testing CLIENT s Timekeeping and Scheduling system and its integration with HR/Payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of QA standards, policies and multiple software development methodologies.
This individual should demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, communication, problem solving, productivity and professionalism. In addition, the candidate will have the ability and aptitude for leadership and self-motivation, possessing strong analytical skills and Retail expertise.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Defines, configures/develops, tests, analyzes, and maintains Kronos Workforce Central application (Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, and Analytics).
- Responsible for all aspects of the Kronos workflow including but not limited to labor levels, organizational map, naming conventions, pay policy groups, pay codes, exceptions, overtime, shifts, holidays, work rules, and accruals.
- Works with business to gather requirements and configures solutions within Kronos.
- Collaborates in a team environment and independently with vendors, business partners and technology teams on projects, support activities, application development, and standardization.
- Creates detailed functional and technical design documents, tests plans, and implementation documents.
- Maintains current knowledge of industry trends, and standards.
- Provides accurate and justifiable estimates for QA resources and testing schedules.
- Responsible for the creation and approval of test cases.
- Responsible for overseeing or generating all QA-related documentation.
- Ensures adherence to standardized QA policies, processes and documentation standards.
- Responsible for directly working with internal and external teams to facilitate integration testing.
- Execution of test cases, defect management, and adherence to test schedule.
- Works with Business customers in understanding and clarifying requirements and stories.
- Responsible for UAT support and testing production defect fixes.
- Responsible for supporting the automation and execution of automated test cases.
- Responsible for being familiar with deployment standards and for utilizing this knowledge to ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments are not compromised.
- Attends status meetings and provides testing updates.
Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Required:
- 3-5 years experience working with Kronos Workforce Central application (preferably V8) (Timekeeping and Scheduling)
- 3-5 years experience working with Kronos Workforce Integration Manager.
- Must have recent experience in Retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis towards highly available and scalable global solutions.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years software quality assurance experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience testing both web applications and backend services, including functional API testing, integration testing, and UI functionality testing.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using ServiceNow or other industry standard SQA tools.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and SQA methodology.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to write quality defects and work directly with developers to resolve the defects.
Recommended: - Understanding of web services and XML concepts and technologies.
- Developing WIM and other custom interfaces, and executing test automation scripts, is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
