Randstad is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect - Data Systems & Integration to join our client's team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in backend systems, data integration, and process documentation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data systems, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and driving project success in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. A solid background in Agile methodologies, business process mapping, and requirements management is essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
Define and document business processes, business / functional requirements, use cases, and technical specifications.
Create and maintain Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) artifacts, including key process steps.
Design, troubleshoot, and support backend systems, including OS, applications, databases, and networks.
Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to implement and deploy effective solutions, challenging and supporting vendors as needed.
Analyze and resolve software and hardware issues related to the OnBoard Information System.
Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and document test results.
Lead the adoption of Agile methodologies (SCRUM / SAFe) across teams.
Utilize collaboration and productivity tools, including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
Present findings and solutions confidently to project teams and stakeholders.
Provide guidance and support in documenting and improving processes in a high-visibility environment.
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (4 years). Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills, combined with a proactive and self-motivated approach, are key to succeeding in this position.
