Summary:
As a National Account Executive, you will work with midsize and enterprise-level companies (1,000 - 10,000 employees) to implement an enhanced background screening program for their onboarding process. This role is ideal for individuals with sales experience and formalized sales training to gain a foothold in the HR Tech/SaaS space and grow as enterprise-level sales professionals. Through our robust training program, we will enhance your sales capabilities by utilizing your critical thinking skills to conduct a solution-selling approach in the sales process with our prospects, learn about the background screen industry, and understand how Verified First helps HR and Talent Acquisition departments improve their onboarding process. Furthermore, you will be an ambassador of Verified First and help grow the brand within the background screening industry.
How our National Account Executive I spends their time:
- Identifying and compiling a new target account list to build a $2 million pipeline;
- Utilize a variety of tools such as sales cadence, social media, business contact databases, etc. in their sales process
- Leading and coordinating discovery calls, demonstrations, presentations, etc. with potential clients and our internal team of sales engineers, account managers, compliance team, etc. to move opportunities to completion;
- Meeting monthly benchmarks including new ACV leads to opportunity conversions and close rates, and creating self-generated opportunities
- Working with our internal teams (Implementation Specialists, Account Managers, Engineering, Compliance, etc.) to develop solutions for our potential clients and, when appropriate, involving our internal teams in sales presentations and demonstrations;
- Identifying and mapping out all relevant stakeholders within an organization to uncover current processes, issues, and needs out of a new screening partner;
- Pricing discussion, negotiation, coordinating with stakeholders, and participation in the implementation process;
- National travel when necessary (travel expenses reimbursed);
- Manage and log all relevant data in Salesforce
- Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, formal sales training preferred
- 2 years minimum professional experience
- Understanding of FCRA and EEOC laws and a PBSA Certification preferred;
- Working knowledge with G-Suite and Microsoft Office Applications;
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred;
- Knowledge of advanced sales strategy & concepts.
