Description
This role is both a People Manager of a small team and a hands-on UX Research Lead reporting into the Head of UX Research. You'll work with the larger Verily UX team and cross-functional groups-including Product Managers, Software Engineers, Clinical Specialists and more. We are seeking someone with excellent research skills; a fierce advocate for the user; a compassionate mentor; and a system-level thinker, who is excited by the challenges of creating innovative and simple user experiences for complex workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of UX Researchers, leading them from product questions and research design to detailed findings and recommendations, and providing ongoing guidance on the team's plans and deliverables.
- Partner with cross-functional leads to determine product research roadmap and priorities, leveraging a variety of methods to suit diverse needs.
- Plan, nurture and grow the team's UXR capabilities, providing mentorship and growth opportunities.
- Play a hands-on role contributing to strategic and executional research projects, including independent research contributions.
- Foster a strong user-focused culture by evangelizing insights and leveraging creative collaboration, presentation and engagement strategies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000 - $225,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
