The candidate must be highly adept at strategy and execution of technology projects including custom software development, systems integration, data management, analytics and enterprise business applications. We are seeking thought leaders capable of going beyond textbook recipes to craft business technology solutions that drive market differentiation and tangible business value. Solution architects must be active practitioners for the technologies and tools utilized in a business solution.
Additionally, this role will assist with thought leadership activities related to marketing and demand generation, including blogs, whitepapers, webinars and podcasts. You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including account executives, management, project managers, vendor personnel, delivery personnel, as well as our partners’ and clients' teams.
Candidates must be comfortable with a hybrid arrangement with onsite presence two days per week in our Duluth, GA office
Functions and Responsibilities of this position:
· Architecting comprehensive solutions that meet our prospect and client requirements.
· Support or lead business development within assigned client(s), partnering with Sales to identify and close new business
· Lead the end-to-end design of a proposed solution, including the preparation of customer presentations, configurations, budgetary proposals, and detailed diagrams.
· Work with the internal Practice leads to develop related services workplans and SOWs to support implementation of client solutions.
· Conduct demonstrations of solutions offerings for prospects as needed
· Provide delivery leadership on strategic client projects for the purpose of establishing a solution delivery foundation, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and incubating additional business opportunities.
· Proactively assist in in identifying new services sales opportunities within our client base and with prospective clients.
· Collaborate with internal Director(s) and Practice Leads and contribute to the creation of repeatable service offerings
· Participate and assist in managing vendor-lead training and certification curriculums as directed
· Attend and participate in local/regional vendor-sponsored networking and marketing events
· Develop relationships with counterpart technical engineers at key vendors / partners
· Leverage experience to provide mentoring to other members of the strategy, business analyst and technical teams as appropriate
· Provide support in the generation of proposals, quotes and statements of work including solution approaches, resource time allocation and role assignments for the engagement
· Maintain a solid understanding of the industry's standards, technology architectures and platforms, integration strategies, methodologies, design and modeling tools, development and deployment utilities, testing tools, trends and best practices
· Establish and institute all practice development/deployment methodologies and best practice guidelines and templates to be utilized on engagements
· Maintain a strong perspective on the overall business and technology landscape, including disruptive new technology trends and industry directions.

POSITION EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Experience and/or education required for this position:
Type of Experience:
· At least 7 years of experience in software architecture, design and implementation.
· At least 10 years of experience as a hands-on practitioner working on software development teams.
· Experience working on IT consulting is a plus.
EDUCATION
· BS degree required, in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
· Masters Degree: a plus
