Construction Project Manager Responsibilities :
New construction within existing warehouse spaceAdditional new facility construction including mezzanine spaceExtend process utilitiesManage construction / installation of new room and hallway utilities such as air handling unitsInvolvement from in-design thru constructability stagesUpdate / maintain project schedules (1x / week)Manager the installation of new process equipment for continuous direct compression including coatingManage the internal project scope of work, budget, timeline, and change ordersAccountable for materials planning, budget development and cost control for assigned projectsManage the equipment and resources needed on the project(s)Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and work planManage internal and / or client management activities for assigned projectsIdentify and address complex technical issues and resourcingSupport team members; acting as the liaison to the client for discussing changes in scope of work, timeline, or budgetProvide frequent / clear concise project updates to internal / external customersProblem solve skills to drive solutions to equipment / process issues, includingFMEA and root cause analysis methodologyInterface with vendors, when necessary, to ensure vendors will deliver parts, materials, components and equipment on-time, on-budget and to technical specificationsRequirements :
Experience in GEA Pharma highly preferredExperience with ConsiGma™-DC preferredExperience with Primavera Scheduling preferredMust meet on site work requirements in Mount Vernon, INStrong background in facilities / construction management in the pharma industryAssociate or Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredProven ability to solve problems creativelyStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practicesExperience seeing projects through the full life cycleExcellent analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines5 years of experience in Facilities / Construction Project ManagementFor US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below. The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
