Veritas Consulting & Construction Group, LLC is locally owned and operated serving the Mid-Missouri Area. Our business is named Veritas as the owner earned his reputation for telling the truth through pictures of the health of a roof. Veritas is the Latin word for truth. With a passion to serve and care for others, we consult with our customers before any other conversations take place. Although Veritas started as a roofing company, we now have the privilege of being a full-service general contractor allowing us the opportunity to provide both interior and exterior remodeling services in addition to roofing services.
We are currently searching for a team member to join our team as the Administrator. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
· 5-10-years of experience in an administrative role.
· Proven office management or administrative experience
· Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multitasks and prioritize work
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of accounting, data, insurance and administrative management practices and procedures
· Project management skills
· Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
· Knowledge of relevant business software including proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Ability to adapt to changing business environment
Job Responsibilities
· Office Operations: Co-owns relationship with CPA. Co-owns relationship with lawyer. Owns relationship with insurance agent. Project manage various projects with company-wide impact on either the team or the business. Ensure subcontractors have completed all necessary documentation prior to being on a job site. Additional responsibilities include annual renewals of various city license in conjunction with Accounting.
· Policy & Procedure Development: Maintain and develop company policies and procedures as applicable.
· Financial Management: Shared responsibilities with Accounting including analyzing financial statements, identifying cost saving measures and reporting on profit margin of projects. Overall financial management is the responsibility of Accounting. Contacting clients for payments in arrears is a joint effort with Accounting.
· Human Resource Management: Recruiting, hiring, onboarding of new employees including E-Verify, offboarding of employees in transition, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Processing employee timesheets and payroll submission managing paid time off. Managing company vehicles usage and personal miles.
· Strategic Planning: Shared responsibilities include developing and implementing short- and long-term business strategies and setting organization goals. Additional responsibilities include: scheduling and implementing various company meetings and monthly meeting agendas.
· Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving administrative issues and making necessary changes to improve efficiency.
· Compliance Management: Assuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, including insurance and tax compliance. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date record keeping of files related to the aforementioned.
