About the Position:
The Deputy Program Manager (Establishment) provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction to the Memphis Office of Child Support Enforcement, located in Memphis, TN. The position reports to a Program Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with the contract executive and program manager to provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the Memphis location
- Assists in the development of office, team, and team members’ short- and long-term goals
- Develops procedures, processes, and methods to manage the child support caseload
- Assesses operational efficiency and effectiveness and implements process improvement activities, as needed
- Assists the project manager in ensuring integrated service delivery across health and human services programs
- Supervises six direct reports
- Serves as court case flow manager and liaison with the court, clerk of court, SCU, and OSC to identify and resolve any delays or deficiencies in court case processing relating to establishment modifications processes
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Five years of human services experience
- Five years of supervisory experience, three of which must be in child support services
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of child support policy and procedures
- Knowledge of computers and software (Microsoft Office)
