Legal Video Production

Veritas Legal Services , a leader in the legal video industry, has an immediate position for part-time videographers. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel for depositions within their County and surrounding area. TRAINING IS PROVIDED.

Experience: Prior experience in video deposition is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot video cameras and other recording equipment is a must.

Client Services experience especially in legal industry preferred. One to three years prior experience with video equipment and techniques required.

Education: 4 year degree or equivalent experience.

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for set-up of video and audio equipment to prepare for and produce depositions; work with various recording equipment including video cameras, microphones, audio mixers, monitors, editing systems, cords and cables, and other such equipment.Edit and duplicate video as required. Prepare labels for videos for shipping and delivery. Transfer of video to various types of media.Prepare a detailed worksheet for each job and forward to the Billing Department. Prepare reports as requested.Maintain and verify that all equipment is functioning properly.Perform other video service duties that may include editing, assisting with equipment proposals and purchases, archiving videos, video playbacks, and other such activities.Working in the office on clerical functions when not out on a video.Requirements:

• Excellent communications skills a must.
• Professionalism A MUST as well as an excellent driving record and a reliable vehicle.
• Basic knowledge of camera equipment, audio, and computer equipment necessary.

- Must be in good physical condition as position requiresBending, stooping, lifting, and moving equipment.- Availability weekdays required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 32 per week
