About the Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Law Firm Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our team at Veritas Partners. As a key member of our real estate practice group, you will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance on various real estate matters, including zoning and land use, real estate development, transactions, and litigation.
Main Responsibilities
- Represent the firm and its clients in all aspects of real estate law, including zoning and land use, real estate development, and transactions.
- Negotiate and draft commercial leases, real estate development agreements, and easements.
- Provide expert legal guidance on land acquisition and development, including drafting contracts and related documents.
- Communicate effectively and strategically with local and municipal officials.

About You
- You have 2-10 years of experience in real estate development and transactional law as an attorney.
- You possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and are licensed to practice in Maryland.
- You have experience with local region real estate transactions and knowledge of municipal law.
- You can develop expertise with local market and land knowledge, real estate pipeline, and search for current and future land purchase deals.
