We are seeking Uniformed Armed Private School Security Officer(s) to become an integral part of our team.
Objectives of this Role
Be visible and observant at all times, greeting staff, members, and visitors in a courteous and attentive manner
Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
Comply with school / church standards, such as no smoking on property, enhanced personal appearance standards, etc.
Must be punctual - typical shift is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mon - Fri when school is in session (36 weeks per year)
Responsibilities
Patrol property on foot, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and perimeter are secure in all weather conditions
Investigate and take the appropriate lawful action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, and direct heavy traffic during start and end of events
Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
Qualifications:
Security officer with current Level III Texas Pocket Card, to include MMPI
Proven experience as security officer working in a church, school, or religious organization
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time or continually walking – as required for the post
Able to lift 25 pounds and other activities requiring physical exertion
Wear the uniform and gear according to company-prescribed rules based on client standards
Preferred Qualifications
Military experience and prior armed security experience
Certification in first aid, CPR/BLS, self-defense
Salary : $18 - $20
