The Center at Cordera is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team! This position will ultimately be a part time or a seasonal position, but will offer full time hours initially to help maintain and restore the building's pristine environment. Pay is dependent on experience.

The purpose of this position is to assist in maintaining the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include painting, plumping, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc. as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean windows and screens as directed.
- Replace burned out light bulbs to include exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc. and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
- Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
- Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
- Other related duties as they become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or the Administrator
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Salary : $17 - $19
