Veritiv's Internship Program will provide real world experience, team projects, social events, volunteer work and professional development trainings. The internships are full-time, hybrid and run June 2 to August 8, 2025.
Job Purpose :
As a Human Resources Intern, you will learn all facets of the HR work cycle and perform work in a variety of areas providing support to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning and Development and other HR related areas.
Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
- Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications :
In this role, you will be working closely with key leaders on a variety of projects which could include :
Support multiple projects to deliver timely results on Human Resources initiatives like turnover analysis with recommended actions, training and development tools and competitive analysis research.Learn about the Talent Acquisition recruiting process and source, screen and recruit qualified individuals for specific open positions.Create Talent Acquisition marketing and social media strategiesSupport multiple projects to deliver results on Talent Development initiatives such as Career Mapping, Talent Review, Performance Check-Ins.Assist with the execution of HR programs including the summer intern program, employee engagement initiatives and new hire orientationEngage in competitive market analysis of compensation and total rewards practicesSupport the administration of benefit related activities determining eligibility and implementationPursuing a Business Administration degree preferred.Strong leadership and project management skillsWork Experience :
Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to work quickly and efficiently.Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Strong planning and organization skills are required.Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Education :
