Job Summary
We are looking for a detailed-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. We offer paid, on-the-job training to prepare you for success and career progression opportunities. The Accounts Payable specialist will be responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice entry, reconciliation, vendor communication, and ensuring payments are processed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Process team member expense reports.
- Record auto payments deducted from our bank account.
- Pay building rent monthly.
- Reconcile purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
- May pay property and income taxes depending on location.
- May split and bill shared expenses, depending on location.
- Complete and submit credit applications to set up accounts with new vendors.
- Create profiles for new vendors.
- Communicate daily with the Parts department for all price/inventory corrections.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service position is preferred. Prior experience working a parts counter is a plus.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Intermediate computer skills, including (but not limited to); PFW, Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Effectively handle lifting various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
