Job Summary

We are seeking a seasonal (summer) IT Support Representative to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to employees requests, isolates problem, and determines / implements solution. This position requires the ability to work well independently, sometimes with minimal guidance.

Pay: $20 hourly

Essential Functions

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming employee requests and issues related to computer systems (i.e, CDK, Salesforce), software and hardware
• Train computer users.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  
  
  

Non-Essential Functions

• Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
• Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
• Walk customer through problem-solving process.
• Clean up computers.
• Write training manuals.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
• Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Pursuing or attainment of an IT degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High degree of attention to detail and deadline driven.
• Oral, written, and interactive communication skills.
• Skilled in effective research tactics and good organization.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
