Job Description:
The service office administrator is responsible for overseeing many aspects of the repair order process within our service department while holding high attention detail and consistency. Daily duties include opening work orders, adding repair segments, final proofreading and invoicing, tech time entry, work in progress reports, as well as customer fleet maintenance. The Vermeer Colorado service team is dedicated to customer service, and this role is pivotal to our customer satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creation, proofing and invoicing of Service department work order's
- Greeting customers
- Answering phones
- Paperwork and filing
- Data entry
- Support inner office personnel from parts, service and rental in daily operations
- Ongoing familiarization with Vermeer’s product line
- Following all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhering to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
- Performing all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with mechanical repair orders/service work
- Background in repair shop, ie: auto or diesel repair, equipment, rental, etc
- Computer and typing literacy
- Team player attitude and mentality
- Understanding and/or familiarity with basic mechanical terms
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Positive Attitude and driven to excel in fast paced environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
- Personal appearance must be neat and clean
- Highschool Diploma or GED
Shift:
- Monday - Friday : 8am - 5pm
