Job Summary:
The Trade Ally Training Manager plays a key role in the development and management of the training program for Efficiency Vermont’s Efficiency Excellence Network partners. These trainings are designed to assist these organizations in acquiring new or enhanced skills and knowledge around energy efficiency, construction, and maintenance. This position works in the field to proactively engage, support, and strengthen relationships with supply chain partners and stakeholders across Vermont.

This is a hybrid position, and the ideal candidate will be Vermont.
Compensation:
At VEIC, we are committed to pay transparency. The starting pay range for this position will be between $85,000-$95,000. Based on market data, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and location. Please discuss your intended work location with the recruiter for more information. Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Builds and maintains long-term relationships with contractors, distributors, and manufacturers in Vermont. Initiates key strategic partnerships between Efficiency Vermont and selected trade groups and associations.
- Solicits training opportunities from manufacturers and partner organizations to promote amongst the EEN trade ally groups
- Tracks participation and documents continuing education credits for EEN members; including AIA and BPI continuing education credits to enhance value to targeted trade ally groups
- Identifies opportunities and collaborates with EEN Program Manager, and PACE Account Managers and other VEIC and sub-contractor staff to ensure timely training offerings
- Maintains calendar of trainings and ensures offerings for EEN members across Trade Partner groups.
- Collaborates with Marketing to ensure trainings are posted to the EVT website and promoted to trade partners
- Seeks to understand market transformation impacting the various EEN trade ally groups and business dynamics of EEN members and partners to advance broader organizational goals.
- Participates in Efficiency Vermont outreach events as necessary.
- Develops and implements the program design for our annual Better Building by Design conference.
- Provides dedicated face-to-face field support combining a technical consultation/consultative sales approach to support contractor base.
- Identifies and understands contractors, distributors, and manufacturers' business needs, barriers to participation in Efficiency Vermont programs, and business objectives, and motivates contractors to take appropriate action to drive energy efficiency in projects.
- Conducts analyses and provides recommendations to the Efficiency Vermont operations teams to improve processes relative to all contractor, distributor, or manufacturer support functions and the overall customer experience.
- Participates in ongoing individual and team training and provides peer coaching to other Account Managers, Engineering Consultants, and other VEIC staff to enhance technical skills.

Qualifications
Knowledge And Experience
- Strong personal commitment to the mission, vision, goals and values of VEIC.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a business-to-business energy or professional
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships, and collaborate with internal staff, customers, trade allies, and community organizations including government entities.
- Ability to carry out systematic data tracking and reporting processes and implement planned steps from start to finish.
- Demonstrated experience generating reports with spreadsheet and/ or database programs such as Excel and Access.
- Demonstrated ability to be organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience with substantive elements of customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills including effectiveness in productive communications along with a high degree of professionalism, maturity, and a polished demeanor.
