This firm serves a diverse range of clients, including employers, unions, and government entities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in labor relations, collective bargaining, and employment law, and will thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
Role Overview:
- Leading collective bargaining negotiations and resolving disputes
- Representing clients in labor arbitrations, mediations, and before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and other administrative agencies
- Advising clients on union organizing efforts, collective bargaining agreements, and labor law compliance
- Managing disputes involving unfair labor practices, strikes, picketing, and other union-related issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on labor contracts, employee handbooks, and workplace policies
- Offering strategic advice on employee relations, litigation risk management, and compliance with federal and state labor laws
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in labor relations, employment law, or a related field
- Extensive experience with collective bargaining, arbitration, and labor law compliance
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills
- Ability to provide clear, strategic advice on complex labor matters
- Florida Bar membership is required
