My client, a highly respected boutique law firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Partner to join its nationally recognized Commercial Real Estate practice. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned attorney to potentially step into a leadership role, and contribute to the continued growth of a highly successful real estate group.
About the Role
As a Commercial Real Estate Partner, you will have responsibility for handling a wide range of real estate matters, working closely with sophisticated commercial clients in various aspects of real estate transactions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
- Acquisitions and Dispositions : Leading and managing the buying and selling of commercial real estate properties, including conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, and managing the closing process.
- Development and Leasing : Advising on real estate development projects from inception through completion, including working on leases and managing leasing transactions, tenant negotiations, and landlord-tenant issues.
- Financing : Representing both lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate financing transactions, such as structuring loan agreements, handling refinancing, and managing all aspects of secured transactions.
- Strategic Guidance : Providing practical, business-oriented advice to clients across a variety of industries, including REITs, developers, and high-net-worth individuals, on legal matters related to real estate investments, financing, and development.
- Client Relationship Management : Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and offering creative, practical legal solutions.
- Business Development : Actively seeking new opportunities, expanding your client base, and contributing to the firm's continued growth through strategic networking, thought leadership, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborative Work Environment : Working closely with other attorneys within the firm, offering mentorship to junior team members, and coordinating with other practice groups to provide clients with comprehensive legal services.
- Cross-Selling and Practice Expansion : Identifying opportunities for cross-selling firm services to clients across different areas of law and collaborating with other departments to expand the firm's business.
