Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Pricing and Portfolio Specialist, Industrial with a strong background in mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in pricing strategies, product structuring, and data management for industrial components. This is a hands-on role pivotal in enhancing profitability, ensuring product data integrity, and aligning product offerings with customer needs and business growth objectives.
Essential Job Functions
- Pricing Strategy & Management : Maintain and update product pricing, including new product entries, pricing tools, and price adjustments.
- Data Management and Analysis : Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product data across business systems. Leverage data analytics tools to derive actionable insights and inform product strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Systems teams to optimize product structures and ensure efficient workflows for both new and existing products.
- Product Development & Business Case Creation : Collaborate with Sales and Engineering to drive new product initiatives, build business cases, and manage the development pipeline. Oversee product lifecycle management (PLM) to ensure timely launches and updates.
- Product Marketing & Positioning : Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute product marketing strategies, including product launches, campaigns, channel strategy, and other positioning efforts to maximize market impact.
