What are we looking for?
Informatica ETL Developer is primarily responsible for supporting ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS and support activities. Job assignments will include analyzing, designing, development, and delivery of data using Informatica ETL tool from operational systems and files into a staging area, operational data stores, data warehouse, data marts and files and developing ETL mapping, mapping documents and SQL queries. Informatica ETL Developer will also assist in the design, development
and implementation of the enterprise integration architecture and will provide ETL
expertise to other areas of the organization.

ETL developers are responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions in the company
After development work completes, developers also must test their designs to ensure the system runs smoothly
Developers must be experts at taking a big-picture view of a company's data situation
Design, develop and maintain database objects such as the tables, views and stored procedures needed to support reporting and / or analytics solutions
Analyze data to understand gaps, inconsistencies and other quality issues, and devise data quality improvement solutions
Analyze and remedy database and query performance issues
Developers need to be able to read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals
Work with business users and gathering data and reporting requirements.
Work with business users and QA team with user-acceptance testing and issue resolution.
Must be proficient with SQL Queries
Needs to have greater understanding and experience of Data warehousing, data transformation, and business intelligence.
Must have experience working with dimensional modeling
Must have some experience in Python scripting
Must be a team-player and willing to work under tight timeline

What's necessary to do the job?
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Information Systems or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
6 years of hands-on experience using Informatica Power center, IICS IDQ tools
2 years of experience in Python with data science libraries is plus
Should have worked on complex reporting scenarios involving Multiple Tables, Loops, Contexts, Prompts, Aggregate Awareness, Derived Tables, Charts, Ranking, and Percentages etc.
Solid Hands on experience in SQL programming and writing stored procedures, functions, views, SQL queries is required.
Ability to quickly assess data structures and processes to interpret how business data sets relate to each other
Strong desire to learn how things work and to apply that knowledge to problem resolution
