Job Title : ETL Developer
Duration : 30 Months Contract

Location : 800 North Pearl, Menands, NY 12204 (Hybrid - 50%)
Position Type : Full Time 40 Hours a week / 8-hour days (regular business hours are 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm but can be negotiated)

Description : Informatica / Rhapsody ETL Development.
Responsibilities :
- Working with large and complex Oracle data warehouses, data marts and OLTP databases.
- Writing / executing SQL for querying various Oracle databases as well as the Informatica Metadata Repository for validating unit and QA testing, monitoring, and for investigating integrity issues.
- Guiding the ETL team in the development and monitoring of ETL processes and test plans using Informatica Power Center and Rhapsody.
- Guiding the ETL team in shaping, enhancing and recommending best practices to the overall ETL (Informatica / Rhapsody) architecture.
- Investigating and resolving difficult design and build issues, data loading and data integrity issues.
- Performance tuning Informatica / Rhapsody workflows.
- Using Informatica / Rhapsody to develop ETL mappings and workflows including the use of mapplets, reusable transformations and worklets.
