What are we looking for?
The IT Demand Management Lead is responsible for managing Technology portfolio operations, the enablement process (ideation through prioritization), and the IT demand process to allow Versant Health to methodically evaluate and rank the technology backlog. The Lead will use their understanding of business operations, functions, IT services and capabilities, combined with a solid understanding and connection to the business to ensure that internal and external customers receive the expected business value using tools, processes and quantifiable measures. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Demand Management.

What are we looking for?

Where you will have an impact
- Manages the IT demand intake and prioritization process to optimize resource allocation to focus on high-value items, maximize return on investment, mitigate risks and align with Versant Health’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Leads a committee to make informed decisions regarding which items to execute, defer or reject based on assessed value, resource capacity and other key data points
- Meets with key stakeholders when necessary to guide them through the process, coach on best practices for intake submission, clarify requirement asks and provide overall support to the business
- Communicates demand status, and expected timelines to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
- Continuously refines demand intake, evaluation, and prioritization methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve predictability
- Maintains and improves tools and processes for demand governance
- Provides standard and ad hoc reporting to Enterprise PMO team members and key stakeholders across the company
- Collaborates with the Enterprise PMO to build and maintain a comprehensive IT Portfolio Roadmap and govern backlogs appropriately
- Other duties as assigned
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in a related course of study
- 3 years of portfolio management experience
- 3 years of experience managing project plans with predecessors, baselines, dependencies, and resources in Microsoft Project (or similar software)
- 3 years of experience documenting business processes, including creating flow charts and process diagrams in Microsoft Visio (or similar software)
- Healthcare or insurance industry experience preferred
