What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Safety Advisor-SE Minnesota position at Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting?
This exciting company seeks an experienced Safety professional who is a great relationship builder, client-focused, self-motivated, well-organized and provides exceptional follow-through.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with clients to help them drive a strong safety culture.
- Respond to customer questions on safety / environmental compliance issues
- Conduct pictorial safety audits at assigned manufacturing facilities, noting state and / or federal OSHA regulation violations based on industry
- Develop customized safety programs and training modules for clients from available training modules
- Proficiently conduct safety training at client's facility.
- Participate in client's Safety Committee meetings to provide direction and advice
- Complete PPE, chemical, and guarding audits
- Provide OSHA Compliance onsite support when OSHA Compliance Officer is conducting a facility inspection
- Build rapport and trust with manufacturing workers and management
- Participate in informal conferences with OSHA in contesting citations
- Provide knowledge of crane handling
- Provide direction and inspection of the SDS process
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Hybrid position. Must live within SE MN. No relocation.
Salary range : 85-100K DOQ
