Vertex Service Partners is a company focused on investing in and growing residential home improvement services companies in the United States, with a focus on residential roofing & other exterior services. Vertex is backed by Alpine Investors, a top-decile private equity fund with a long history of successful investments in similar industries. Vertex is an investment out of Alpine s 9th fund, which has $4.5 billion of committed capital. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of building out a FP&A function of a company with the explicit mandate to grow to be a multi-billion dollar company within the next five years, with the goal to grow the right way through a relentless focus on employee and customer experience.
Location: Charlotte, NC HQ (6525 Carnegie Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28211) - Hybrid (3 days in office)
Qualifications
- 4 years of finance accounting experience (prior consulting, investment banking, or FP&A experience a plus)
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field
- Advanced skill in Excel with deep knowledge and experience in financial modeling
- Experience with business intelligence reporting tools (PowerBI a plus)
Where you ll make an impact:
- Collaborating with segment-level business leaders to analyze the performance of their businesses, identifying and understanding key trends, and assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting & analysis
- Driving organic growth with a relentless focus on setting ambitious targets, identifying how to get there, and executing on strategic initiatives
- Help with creating and maintaining monthly reporting packages, financial models, and forecasts
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting for capital partners (board and credit reporting)
- Developing ad-hoc analyses for management team to provide insight that allows business leaders to scale and make data-driven decisions
- Constant improvement of financial systems and processes
- Partnering with leaders to drive success at all levels of the organization

Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 bonus target depending on experience.
